Choose Cancel Instead of No-Show

October 05, 2021

At Bayshore Animal Hospital & Avian Practice, we know scheduling veterinary appointments has looked much different lately than it ever has before.

As we all try to navigate this new world together, we ask for your continued patience and cooperation when it comes to scheduling and canceling appointments.

Cancel Instead of No-Show

We understand that it can be difficult to schedule a veterinary appointment for your pet, and many people make an appointment and keep searching for an earlier one. If you find yourself in this situation, we ask that you call to cancel your appointment at least twenty-four hours in advance so we can offer your appointment slot to another pet in need of veterinary care.

More Appointments Than Ever Before

Between an increase in pet adoptions during the Covid-19 quarantine and more people working from home with more time on their hands, we've been experiencing more appointment requests than ever before. We are doing everything we can to accommodate all these requests while still offering the quality care for which we are known. We apologize if the process of scheduling an appointment is more frustrating than what you are used to, but we promise that we are working hard to properly care for your beloved pets.

Canceling Helps Us Keep Our Schedule Organized

We understand that sometimes conflicts come up that make it hard to keep your scheduled appointment, and we are happy to either cancel or reschedule your appointment for you. When you simply do not show up for a scheduled appointment, however, it makes us harder to keep our schedule organized for other pet parents who do manage to make it to theirs. Courteously calling to cancel ensures that we can keep our availability up to date.

The entire team at Bayshore Animal Hospital & Avian Practice is here to help you through this unprecedented time. Let's continue working together to ensure that your pets get premium veterinary care in St. Petersburg. To learn more, call us at (727) 381-3900.
